The town centre bookstore, is located in the iconic Uluru resort town.

RDL was asked to design a new store that responded to the owner-operators Voyages specific needs. The sale of books has changed with the global move to online. Books retain a powerful presence. They require the right environment to be fully appreciated. The bookstore was carefully designed to provide a respite from the busyness of the world, to enjoy the simple act of reading.

Customers are invited to come in and browse at their leisure, through a wide assortment of books, magazines and other media. The store has been designed to promote the inquisitive ‘journey’, inviting customers to keep searching around the next corner to find ‘that’ book. When the right selection present itself, customers are encouraged take a seat in one of the comfy integrated reading nooks.
